Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how NewMan Tech ("we", "our", or "us"), a technology company based in India, handles information in connection with the Eagle View desktop application ("Application", "Service").
Eagle View is a productivity widget that connects to your Microsoft Outlook or Google Gmail account to display a real-time summary of emails, calendar meetings, and flagged tasks — all processed locally on your device.
This Policy is designed to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), and internationally recognised privacy principles including OECD Privacy Guidelines and ISO/IEC 29101.
Data We Access
Eagle View requests the following permissions from your connected accounts. All access is read-only. We never write, modify, or delete data in your accounts.

How We Use Your Data
We process your data solely to provide the features of Eagle View. The legal bases for processing under GDPR Article 6 are:

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, profiling, machine learning training, or any purpose beyond delivering the functionality you explicitly requested.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with any third party except as described in Section 5 (Third-Party Services).
Local Storage & Security
All data handled by Eagle View resides exclusively on your local device. The following file is created during normal operation:

Security Measures
- OAuth tokens are stored using the platform's native secure storage primitives
- All API communication uses TLS 1.2 or higher (HTTPS only)
- The Application requests minimum necessary OAuth scopes (principle of least privilege)
- No telemetry, crash reporting, or usage analytics data is transmitted from the Application
- The Application's Rust backend enforces memory safety to prevent buffer overflow and injection attacks

Eagle View integrates with the following third-party platforms at your direction. Your use of these platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies:

NewMan Tech is not responsible for the privacy practices of Microsoft or Google. Eagle View's use of data obtained from these APIs is limited to displaying information within the Application and is not used for any secondary purposes.
Eagle View's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data Retention
Because NewMan Tech does not collect or store any data on our servers, our data retention obligations are minimal:

For email, calendar, and task data: NewMan Tech retains no copies on our servers. For license records (email address and device identifier): these are retained on our licensing server for the duration described above and deleted upon request.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the following rights regarding your personal data. Because Eagle View does not transmit data to our servers, most of these rights can be exercised directly by you within the Application or your operating system.
Rights under GDPR GDPR
You can view all data the app accesses directly within Eagle View's interface.
Log out and delete the settings file to erase all locally stored data.
Disconnect your account via Settings → Log Out to stop all data processing.
Your settings file is a standard JSON file you may copy or transfer freely.
Uninstall the Application to cease all data processing immediately.
Contact your national supervisory authority (e.g., ICO, CNIL, BfDI).
Rights under CCPA/CPRA CCPA
This Policy fully describes the categories of personal information processed.
Delete your settings file or uninstall to remove all personal information.
We do not sell personal information. No opt-out is required.
Exercising your privacy rights will not affect your access to Eagle View.
Rights under DPDP Act 2023 India
This Policy provides complete information about personal data processing activities.
Contact us or delete your local settings file to erase processed data.

You may nominate a representative to exercise your rights on your behalf.
To exercise any right that requires our involvement, contact us at privacy@newmantech.in. We will respond within 30 days (GDPR: 1 month; DPDP: as prescribed by the Board).
Children's Privacy
Eagle View is a professional productivity tool intended for use by individuals aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly process personal data of children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
If you believe a child has provided personal information in connection with Eagle View, please contact us at privacy@newmantech.in and we will take appropriate steps to address the matter.
International Data Transfers
NewMan Tech is headquartered in India. Because Eagle View processes all data locally on your device and does not transmit personal data to our servers, there are no international transfers of personal data by NewMan Tech.
When Eagle View connects to Microsoft or Google APIs on your behalf, your data may be processed on servers operated by these providers in various countries. These transfers are governed by Microsoft's and Google's respective data transfer mechanisms (including Standard Contractual Clauses under GDPR).
For enterprise deployments subject to data residency requirements, please ensure your Microsoft or Google tenant is configured with the appropriate regional data boundary settings before deploying Eagle View.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the features of Eagle View. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document
- Display a notice within the Eagle View application
- Post the updated Policy at newmantech.in/privacy
Your continued use of Eagle View after the effective date of a revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the changes, you should discontinue use of the Application.
For material changes that require fresh consent under applicable law, we will request your explicit confirmation within the Application before continuing to process your data.
